Muslims, Christians, Jews, Atheists, Socialists all marched in the centre of Melbourne to condemn Israel's ruthless war against a defenceless population.
We had speakers from Christian churches, Jewish groups, Islamic groups, politicians, unionists, and a newspaper cartoonist among others.
The Palestinian cause has indeed popular support across the entire community in Australia.
